The 3 phase selection process for the Group B. RBI job consists of the following phases.

          Phase-I               Preliminary Test Written Exam (Objective Type)

          Phase-II               Final Test Written Exam (Descriptive Type)

          Phase-III              Interview

RBI Phase-I Exam pattern: The phase-I Test of RBI consists of Objective Type questions from following four sections:

          1) General Awareness

          2) English Language

          3) Quantitative Aptitude

          4) Reasoning

Exam is of 3 hours duration and for total 200 marks.One needs to qualify in each of these tests individually. Cut off marks not specified and are based on the relative performance of the candidates. Exam Pattern is similar to IOB PO Exam Pattern. 225 Questions to be answered in 135 minutes with total 200 marks as below:

          Test of Reasoning Ability            -           75

          Test of Quantitative Aptitude     -           50

          Test of General Awareness         -           50

          Test of English Language            -           50

RBI Phase II Exam Pattern: Those selected in the Phase-I exam will appear for Phase-II exam, which consists of descriptive questions from the three papers.

          1) Paper-I   -  English

          2) Paper-II  -  Economic and Social Issues

          3) Paper-III  - Finance and Management

Each of these papers is of 3 hours duration carrying 100 marks.

How to Apply Online: All those candidates who wish to apply for Asst Manager & Research Officer posts in Reserve Bank of India, they are required to apply through online mode by filling online application on RBI’s official website at www.rbi.org.in before 17th February 2014.

Qsn. What is the eligibility criteria for Junior Engineer (Civil)/ Junior Engineer (Electrical)?
Ans. 
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years to 30 years as on 01-02-2014. In other words candidates born not earlier than 02-02-1984 and not later than 01-02-1994. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.  
 
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of minimum 3 years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD) or Degree in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with 55% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PWD) with 2 years of experience in relevant discipline.
 
Application Fee: General/ OBC and unreserved category candidates are required to pay Rs. 600/- while SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex- Serviceman category candidates will have to pay Rs. 50/- only. Application fee can be paid through online mode or offline mode.
 
Online Mode: Application fee should be paid through the payment gateway integrated with the application and the payment process can be made by using Master/ Visa debit/ credit cards or internet banking. An e-receipt will be generated after successful payment. Candidates are required to take print out of the same.
 
Offline Mode: Candidates are required to pay the application fee through system generated fee payment Challan form at any branches of Bank of Baroda/ Bank of India/ Bank of Maharashtra/ Indian Overseas Bank/ Central Bank of India/ Punjab National Bank/ United Bank of India.
 
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test and Interview.
 
Online Application form: All those candidates who wish to apply for Junior Engineer posts in Reserve Bank of India, they are required to apply through online mode on RBI’s official website at www.rbi.org.in on or before 20th February 2014.
 
After filling online application, take print out of the same for further references.
 
How to Apply Online: Before start applying online, make sure candidates have valid email address, scanned copy of photograph and signature.
  1. Log on to official website at www.rbi.org.in.
  2. Now click on “Apply Online” link under the post you want to apply for.
  3. Now fill online application with all required details, upload scanned copy of photograph and signature.
  4. Now make payment either online or offline as mentioned above.
  5. After submission of online application, e-receipt will be generated.
  6. Take print out of system generated application.
