The 3 phase selection process for the Group B. RBI job consists of the following phases.
Phase-I Preliminary Test Written Exam (Objective Type)
Phase-II Final Test Written Exam (Descriptive Type)
RBI Phase-I Exam pattern: The phase-I Test of RBI consists of Objective Type questions from following four sections:
1) General Awareness
2) English Language
3) Quantitative Aptitude
Exam is of 3 hours duration and for total 200 marks.One needs to qualify in each of these tests individually. Cut off marks not specified and are based on the relative performance of the candidates. Exam Pattern is similar to IOB PO Exam Pattern. 225 Questions to be answered in 135 minutes with total 200 marks as below:
Test of Reasoning Ability – 75
Test of Quantitative Aptitude – 50
Test of General Awareness – 50
Test of English Language – 50
RBI Phase II Exam Pattern: Those selected in the Phase-I exam will appear for Phase-II exam, which consists of descriptive questions from the three papers.
1) Paper-I – English
2) Paper-II – Economic and Social Issues
3) Paper-III – Finance and Management
Each of these papers is of 3 hours duration carrying 100 marks.
